1. Open Acrobat Reader
2. Select Edit > Preferences
3. Select Security (Enhanced) on the left pane
In older Adobe versions:
4. Uncheck the “Enable Protected Mode at startup” box.
5. Select Yes to the prompt about being sure about making this change.
Click OK
